A leading Independent Materials Handling firm are currently recruiting for an additional Forklift Engineer to cover Field Servicing and Repairs of Materials Handling and Forklift Trucks in the Northamptonshire, Leicestershire and surrounding areas. This role reports directly to the Service Manager and offers an attractive remuneration package and excellent career progression for the successful Engineer

Remuneration:
£24,000 – £28,000 PA Basic Salary (Dependant on skill level)

Diesel Generator Service Engineer

A leading Diesel Generator firm are currently recruiting for an experienced Service Engineer. The company work mainly around the Essex area and are currently looking for a couple of additional members of their team due to increased workload due to their ongoing success. The role itself would be split between working at the depot based in Essex and travelling to sites in and around the local area including some London work. This is not a national role and the company try to match the nearest engineer to field work nearby. The role itself involves working on a range of Hire Generators ranging from 20KVA to 1260 KVA.

The company is well-established in the Diesel Generator industry. They are currently adding to their team as they are going from strength to strength. Chiller Engineer

Chiller Field Engineer. A leading Process Cooling Firm are currently recruiting for a Field Engineer to cover Servicing and Repairs of all types of Chiller Equipment up to 1MW within Greater London area. This role reports directly to the Southern Operations Manager and offers an attractive remuneration package and excellent career progression for the successful Service Manager.

This Well Established and Successful Cooling Firm has over 40 years’ experience in providing bespoke cooling solutions ranging from 2.5kw – 1MW within a number of Industries across the UK.
Due to the successful negotiation of a new long term contract, they are looking for an additional engineer to join their highly skilled and prestigious team based from their offices based in West London.

You will be tasked as a field engineer to visit client sites across London or other locations around the surrounding counties and you will be responsible for the successful Servicing and Repair of Chiller and Process Cooling Equipment.

My client are small but well established Commercial Catering firm based down on the Hampshire coast. They have been in operation for around 20 years and pride themselves on their loyal customer base. Due to a recent re-shuffle in management within the firm, they have a current requirement for an F-Gas qualified Commercial Refrigeration Engineer based in the Hampshire area. This role will entail no central London work, with the territory focusing around the Hampshire area with occasional work in surrounding counties (Dorset, Berkshire, West Sussex).

My client’s portfolio consists of a range of prestigious sites including colleges, hospitals, airports and MOD sites; absolutely no chip shops or fast food!

You must have experience of working on refrigeration systems in commercial kitchen settings (walk-ins, back/under bar equipment, bottle coolers, ice machines etc.)

You will ideally be located as near to the office as possible, although a good engineer based elsewhere in Hampshire or surrounding counties will of course be considered.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a firm who have steadily been growing over the years and will always promote from within before looking externally – a senior engineer position will be opening up in the coming months and anyone joining the firm now will have a chance at securing this.

They specialise in the design, manufacture and commissioning of integrated control systems incorporating PLCs, SCADA, HMIs, variable speed drives, and instrumentation across a number of industries.

The Job:

As the Lead Control Systems Engineer you will be responsible for:

  • Manage and motivate a team of Engineers to get the best out of them.
  • Preparing detailed cost estimates and outline specifications
  • Writing detailed functional design specifications
  • Configuration of system architecture, network connections and interfaces primarily Ethernet, Devicenet, Profibus and Modbus.
  • Production of PLC software
  • Production of HMI / SCADA software
  • Site installation and commissioning

To be considered for the role of Lead Control Systems Engineer you must have the following skills and experiences:

  • Software or Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent years’ experience
  • Strong programming skills using PLC software, mainly: Allen Bradley PLC5/ SLC/ CLX, Siemens S7/ TIA Portal
  • Experience with HMI / SCADA Configuration using Wonderware, FTView, Iconics, ClearSCADA, WinCC
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Prior experience in working in the Water industry would be advantageous.
