A well-established Plant Hire company are currently looking around for an experienced Plant Fitter in and around Essex. They pride themselves on creating a great atmosphere for their employees, one of the main reasons why they find they have such great lengths of tenure. Established nearly 100 years ago, they have grown into a successful company with multiple sub companies within the construction and demolition sectors. As they continue to expand- they are looking for a new fitter to hit the ground running.

Now is your chance to join them! In this role you would be working on a range of Heavy Plant Equipment. The role would involve a split between spending time at the head depot and working as a mobile fitter. The role would involve working on a range of equipment including but not limited to: excavators, dumpers, handlers, crushers and dozers.

The ideal candidate for this position is somebody who has experience in a similar role within the Heavy Plant industry. To be successful, you will also have thorough knowledge of diesel, electrical and hydraulic systems. A further advantage would be being able to weld although this is not essential.

£32,500- £35,000 (based on a 45 hour week)

HGV Fitter London

My Client a leading Family owned Commercial Vehicle Repair firm who Specialise in HGV Mechanical Engineering Solutions for high profile Clients within the Transport and Logistics Industry are expanding.

I am working with the Operations Director who has been with the firm for over 17 years, He started his career just like you as an Engineer on the tools.   Today he manages upwards of 19 Employees from their depot in North London. Due to continued success and growth they are now in the market for an additional HGV Technician to join the existing team in the Depot.

The Job is a Workshop based role operating from the Depot in NW London.  Work involves the Day 2-day servicing, repairing, and Inspections of all sizes and makes of HGV’s.

The Package is for a 40-hour week, starts with 30 – 35k Basic (negotiable) above average pension scheme and as much overtime as you could wish for.
