An Independent Lift firm are expanding and looking to recruit an NVQ 3 Qualified Lift Field Service Engineer to cover Lift Repairs and Servicing within the Avon area. This role reports directly to the Area Manager and offers an attractive remuneration package and excellent career progression for the successful Candidate.

You will be joining an Independent Market Leader within the Lift industry who have been trading for in excess of over 30 years, growing from strength to strength and who pride themselves on understanding and delivering a performance edge to their blue chip customer base.

Remuneration:

  • £25,000 – £35,000 PA Basic Salary (Dependant on skill level)
  • Overtime and on-call commensurate to £10000 PA

The Ideal Candidate:

  • You will have 10 or more years’ total experience working in the Lift Industry.
  • You will have relevant experience in your current role, or a recent position.
  • You will have Lift Industry Manufacturer Product Training Certificates listed on your CV.
  • You will have exceptional Customer focus and confidence in your skills
  • You will have a clean driving licence

Essential Requirements:

  • NVQ 3 Qualified (lift servicing/repairs)
  • 5 or more years’ total experience working across a portfolio of mechanical, hydraulic and traction lifts.
  • Relevant experience working as a Field Service or Repair Engineer such that you could hit the ground running and not require any additional training to start work.
  • You will have exceptional Customer focus and confidence in your skills
  • Driving license holder

My client, a leading Stair Lift firm are currently recruiting for a Field Engineer to cover Installations and Serving within their organisations work in the Oxfordshire/Bedfordshire/Hertfordshire/Berkshire/Buckinghamshire areas. This role reports directly to the Service Manager and offers an attractive remuneration package and excellent career progression for the successful candidate.

Responsibilities:
Installation, Servicing and Breakdowns of a range of access products including:

  • Domestic through the floor lifts,
  • Non enclosed lifting platforms,
  • Step lifts,
  • Wheelchair platform stair lifts.

Essential Skills required:

  • Electro-mechanical knowledge
  • Suitable trade qualifications
  • A methodical approach with an ability to deal with customers in a professional manner
  • Clean driving licence
  • Previous experience in platform lift and domestic through the floor lift installations would be beneficial-both domestic and public access
  • Automotive experience beneficial
  • Joinery/building experience

Remuneration:

  • Salary – up to £30,000

Responsibilities:
Installation, Servicing and Breakdowns of a range of access products including:

  • Repairing, removing and installing various products in a timely manner
  • Maintaining clear, professional and proactive communication with our customers at all times

Essential Skills:

  • Experience in (or knowledge of) installing, removing, repairing and servicing of stair lift products
  • NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in stair lift installation/maintenance
  • Experience in maintaining Minivator, Freelift and other Third Party products
  • Good communication skills
  • Outstanding customer care skills
  • Good level of efficiency and productivity
  • Flexible approach to work
  • Understanding of electronics and good mechanical background
  • Both team spirit and ability to lone work
  • Experience in hoist products (desirable but not essential)
