We have a fantastic opportunity with one of our favourite customers who are looking for an Industrial Door Engineer to cover the Yorkshire area.

You will work with one of the biggest names in the industry who boast a work force of 150. They have multiple depo’s across the UK, Including Yorkshire.
Over the last 25 years they have been in business they have really homed in on what it means to look after their staff.

They work in teams of two so you will have the opportunity to mentor and train a Junior Engineer.

You will be covering Yorkshire and will be responsible for Service and Repair of Industrial Doors for a wide range of customers from the MOD to major retailers.

They are looking to appoint a new Pump Engineer with the same passion and drive for the industry as them.

Due to increasing work load the are in need of a highly experienced Pump Engineer to cover the Surrey and Hampshire area with the occasional trip into London.

As a Pump Engineer with this fantastic family run business you will be responsible for:

  • Installing
  • Servicing
  • Repairing
  • Working mainly on submersible pumps across the region.

To be considered for this role you must have the following skills and experience:

  • Extensive experience in the Pump industry as a Field Engineer
  • Able to do Mechanical and Electrical duties
  • Previously worked on Submersible pumps and be able to build, service and repair them
  • CSCS Card
  • Confined space certified

Due to continued growth they are looking to add a new Industrial Door Engineer to their service team to work with their customer base in and around London.

The Job:
As the Industrial Door Engineer you will be responsible for attending breakdowns and planned maintenance jobs to ensure down time is kept to a minimum along with attending customers sites to provide pre planned servicing duties to industrial door equipment.
You will be the face of the business so outstanding customer service is key.

The Candidate:
To be considered for the role of Industrial Door Engineer you must have the following skills and experiences:
•Must be electrically qualified (C&G, NVQ, 17th Edition)
•Previous experience with Industrial electrics, performing breakdown and maintenance duties.
•Knowledge of Industrial Doors
•A full, clean driving license
•Prior filed service experience and be happy to travel

The company are looking for somebody who has good experience working as a Service Engineer and is also experienced in pre-planned maintenance, emergency call outs, fault finding and repairs.

The Ideal Candidate: 

  • 5 or more years total experience working in the Automatic Door industry.
  • Relevant experience in their current role, or a recent position.
  • Industry relevant training listed on their CV
  • Can demonstrate a high level of technical skill, shown on CV

Essential Requirements:

  • 5 or more years total experience working in the Automatic Door industry.
  • Must have EN16005
  • Relevant experience such that they could hit the ground running and not require any additional training to start work.
  • Customer focused and confident in their skills (and a confident communicator)
  • Driving license holder
