Electronic Security Engineer, Hampshire. My Client are a Market Leader within Electronic Security Industry Based from Offices in Hampshire.
They have been trading for over 35 years to date and continued to grow at an excellent steady pace within the Intruder Alarm and CCTV Industry.

I am working with the Engineering Manager who has been with the company since his apprenticeship. Starting out as an Apprentice, he has received various in-house promotions throughout his career.
Today he is responsible for 5 engineers across London and 8 Engineers across the Hampshire Area.

Due to continued success and growth, My Client have an exclusive opportunity for a Skilled Intruder and CCTV Engineer in the Hampshire area to Join the Existing team. This role covers Hampshire completing servicing, repairs and Small works installations to a range of High-End Blue-chip Clientele.

The Package is 28 – 34k basic Salary, Paid Travel, personal use of the vehicle if required and a range of other additional benefits.

The Ideal Engineer will have 5+ years’ experience within the Security Industry. Experience with Menvier, Scantronic Intruder Alarms, Hikvision and Bosch CCTV Equipment and reside in Hampshire.

Your main focus would be working on Electronic Security equipment including Intruder Alarms, CCTV & Access Control. This West Midlands based role, would involve you working on a wide range of sites including: Banks, Schools and Council properties.  You would be joining an experienced team of like-minded individuals with the opportunity to progress into a Senior Engineering position with the company before Christmas!

The ideal candidate for this position is somebody who has extensive experience working with Intruder Alarms as this is one of the company’s main focuses. Although Fire Alarm experience would be beneficial it is not essential for this role. Key Manufacturers that the company would love to see that you have worked on include: Galaxy & Telecom.

The Package
£26,000- £30,000 (depending on experience)
Overtime available
Company Car (optional to swap to van on renewal)
20 Days holiday in year 1 rising to 25 in year 2
Paid travel minus the first and last half an hour

The Ideal Candidate:

  • 5 or more years total experience working in the Electronic Security Industry.
  • FIA Module 3 Qualified in Design & Integrator of Electronic Security Systems.
  • Experience of a wide range of CCTV, Intruder Detection and Access Control Systems
  • Industry relevant training listed on their CV.
  • Electronic Security Manufacturer Product Training Certificates listed on their CV (Gent, Galaxy, Scantronic, Menvier, Alarmtronic etc)
  • Will / desire to better and progress their Business Development skills, stature and position within a successful company that supports internal progression.

Essential Requirements:

  • 3 or more year’s total experience working in the Electronic Security Industry
  • Relevant experience in their current role, or a recent position…
  • Industry relevant training listed on their CV (FIA 3 Design & Integration)
  • Relevant experience working as a Security Sales Executive such that they could hit the ground running and not require any additional training to start work.
  • Will / desire to better and progress their Business Development skills, stature and position within a successful company that supports internal progression.

Electronic Security Field Engineer Tyne & Wear

A leading Electronic Security Firm are currently recruiting for a Field Engineer to cover Lead Engineer duties within the Tyne & Wear County. This role reports directly to the Service Manager and offers an attractive remuneration package and excellent career progression for the successful Security Engineer.

Remuneration:

  • £21,000-£27,000 PA Basic (Dependant on skill level)
  • Overtime and Commission bonus commensurate with:
  • OTE circa £30,000 PA
  • Company vehicle
  • Contributory Pension
  • Comprehensive training options available and encouraged including:
    Manufacturer Training, Product Training.
  • (Pay rise options commensurate with newly gained qualifications)

Responsibilities:

  • Field Installation, Service and Repair duties
  • Client facing to consult on technical details in a professional and knowledgeable fashion

The Ideal Candidate:

  • 6 or more years total experience working in the Electronic Security Industry.
  • A range of Branded Manufacturer Product Training Certificates listed on their CV
  • Relevant experience in their current role, or a recent position.
  • Experience working as an Electronic Security Service, Repair, or Installation & Commissioning Engineer within the last 12 months.
  • Industry relevant training listed on their CV (Such as FIA, BS 5839, HNC/HND Electronics; NVQ Level 2, 3 or 4; 17th Edition Electrical Qualifications).

Essential Requirements:

  • 3 or more years total experience working in the Fire Security Industry.
  • Relevant experience working as an Electronic security Service, Repair, or Installation & Commissioning Engineer such that they could hit the ground running and not require any additional training to start work.
  • Experienced of a wide variety of Fire Alarms, Fire Suppression, Intruder Alarms & CCTV Systems (Morley, AMPAC, Gent, Cooper, Bosch, karisma, galaxy, texecom, scantronic, europlex, menvier, aritech, gent, Alarmtronic)
  • Driving license holder
