Audio Visual Service Engineer (London)

My client, established in the early 90s, are providers of end-to-end technology services for corporate and commercial customers across London and the South East. The company rarely recruit due to their employees staying within the ranks for a very long time, so positions don’t come up very often! Split into 3 distinct departments (IT, Telecoms and Audio Visual) they provide everything technology-wise that can be found in an office or corporate setting. Their AV department is relatively new, and a focus for growth at the moment.

I am working with a privately-owned Global Power Generation firm who Specialise in Standby Diesel Generators Solutions for high profile Critical infrastructure sites.

The National Service Manager has been with the Firm for over 18 years and originally started his career as an Engineer. Today he manages upwards of 20 Diesel Generator Service & Repair Engineers in the UK alone and is now in the market for an additional Diesel Generator Engineer to join the existing team.

The Job will be covering the London Home Counties area and you will be visiting Critical sites requiring 24/7 Stand by Diesel Generator sets, from 500KVA to 1.6 MW. Work involves the Day 2-day servicing, repairing, load balancing to full overhauls in addition to managing switch gear and controls and more.

My client are a leading Service Provider within the Coffee Machine industry have been established for more than 30 years. Progressing from 15 to 30 engineers in the past 4 years, they have growth plans to expand this even further over the next few years. They have a current requirement, in line with these growth plans, to take on an additional engineer to cover work across the Central London area.

However, my client will also consider engineers from similar electro-mechanical backgrounds (vending equipment, medical equipment, white goods etc.) who are interested in changing direction in their career.
