A major manufacturer in the Industrial Door Industry are currently recruiting for an experienced Industrial Door Engineer in Berkshire. The company have been in the Door industry since the mid 1800’s. They have multiple depot’s across the UK. This means their Engineers are local and only operate in the local area. They work on Automatic and Industrial Doors, including Loading bays. Due to growth they are looking for an engineer that can Install, Service and Repair all types of Industrial Doors and Loading bay equipment.

Now is your chance to join them! In this role you will be working on a wide range of industrial doors at customer sites in the Berkshire area. Your main duties will be Installing, Servicing and Maintaining the Industrial Doors along side working on Dock Levelers.

The ideal candidate for this Industrial Door job would be someone with plenty of experience of Installation, Service and Maintenance of Industrial Door systems and most importantly someone who lives in the Berkshire area. They would also have a CSCS card, IPAF or PASMA.

The Package starts with a £25,000 – £30,000 basic, plus travel. Overtime is at time and half before 8am and after 5pm with Double time after midnight should you be out that late (this also includes Travelling!)

The Job:

As the new Business Development Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Generating new business for the service team, selling service contracts to major blue-chip companies in the retail and commercial sectors.
  • Managing own diary
  • Attending site meetings with potential new customers
  • Preforming site surveys

To be considered for the role of Business Development Manager with this fantastic SME you must have the following skills and experiences:

  • Proven sales background in either the Industrial or Automatic Door industry.
  • Abel to hit the ground running with routes to key decision makers.
  • A track record of selling service contracts.
