Diesel Generator Engineer, North East

I am working with a privately-owned Power Generation firm who Specialise in Short Term Hire and Standby Diesel Generators Solutions for high profile Event & Critical infrastructure sites.

The Service Director has been with the Firm for over 23 years and considers herself to be part of the furniture! Today she manages upwards of 9 Diesel Generator, Service & Repair Engineers in the UK and is now in the market for an additional Diesel Generator Engineer to join the existing team in the North East.

The Job will be covering the North East area and you will be visiting both Events, Construction and Critical infrastructure sites requiring 24/7 active and Stand by Diesel Generator sets, from 14KVA to 1.4 MW. Work involves the Day 2-day servicing, repairing, load balancing to full overhauls in addition to managing switch gear and controls and more.

The Package starts from £28,000 Basic (negotiable) paid Travel Door 2 Door Company vehicle with Personal use, Overtime is available. To boost your income

The Ideal Engineer will have a proven career history as a qualified Diesel Generator Engineer with extensive experience within the Diesel Generator Industry working on critical infrastructure sites, Electrically Experinced, Controls and generator Set Load testing and hold an NVQ 3 in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. My client are openly interested in speaking with BS16005, 7036 qualified candidates who have little to a lot of experience with Automatic Doors equipment.
