I am working with a privately-owned Power Generation firm who Specialise in Short Term Hire and Standby Diesel Generators Solutions for high profile Event & Critical infrastructure sites.

The Service Director has been with the Firm for over 23 years and considers herself to be part of the furniture! Today she manages upwards of 9 Diesel Generator, Service & Repair Engineers in the UK and is now in the market for an additional Diesel Generator Engineer to join the existing team in the North East.

The Job will be covering the North East area and you will be visiting both Events, Construction and Critical infrastructure sites requiring 24/7 active and Stand by Diesel Generator sets, from 14KVA to 1.4 MW. Work involves the Day 2-day servicing, repairing, load balancing to full overhauls in addition to managing switch gear and controls and more.

The Package starts from £28,000 Basic (negotiable) paid Travel Door 2 Door Company vehicle with Personal use, Overtime is available. To boost your income

The National Service Manager has been with the Firm for over 18 years and originally started his career as an Engineer. Today he manages upwards of 20 Diesel Generator Service & Repair Engineers in the UK alone is now in the market for an additional Diesel Generator Engineer to join the existing team.

The Job will be covering the Lancashire / North West area and you will be visiting Critical sites requiring 24/7 Stand by Diesel Generator sets, from 500KVA to 1.6 MW. Work involves the Day 2-day servicing, repairing, load balancing to full overhauls in addition to managing switch gear and controls and more.

The Package starts with 28 – 32k Basic (negotiable) paid Travel Door 2 Door, non Trackered Company vehicle with Personal use, above average pension scheme and comes with additional benefits such as up to £5 per day for Lunch!!!

Diesel Generator Service Engineer

A leading Diesel Generator firm are currently recruiting for an experienced Service Engineer. The company work mainly around the Essex area and are currently looking for a couple of additional members of their team due to increased workload due to their ongoing success. The role itself would be split between working at the depot based in Essex and travelling to sites in and around the local area including some London work. This is not a national role and the company try to match the nearest engineer to field work nearby. The role itself involves working on a range of Hire Generators ranging from 20KVA to 1260 KVA.

The company is well-established in the Diesel Generator industry. They are currently adding to their team as they are going from strength to strength. This is an exciting time to join them and a great opportunity for somebody who is looking to grow and develop with a company. As a medium sized, friendly family run company they pride themselves on creating a nice working environment for their engineers and most of their engineers have worked for them for many years.

Remuneration:
£25,000- £29,000
Overtime available
Call out rota 1 in 7

The Ideal Candidate:
-5 or more years total experience working in the Diesel Generator industry.
-Relevant experience in their current role, or a recent position.
-Industry relevant training listed on their CV
-Can demonstrate a high level of technical skill, shown on CV
-Has worked with a wide range of manufacturers
-Somebody with great electrical skills is desirable

Essential Requirements:
-2 or more years total experience working as in the Diesel Generator industry.
-Relevant experience such that they could hit the ground running and not require any additional training to start work.
-Customer focused and confident in their skills (and a confident communicator)
– Experienced working with a range of manufacturers
-Driving license holder
