I am working with a small, family run Commercial Catering service provider based in Surrey. They have been established for over 35 years and are currently undergoing some exciting expansion plans. To fit with these plans, they have a current requirement for an experienced Commercial Catering Engineer to join their team of 5.

This is an exciting opportunity for the successful engineer to join a company at a time when some real growth and progression is on the horizon.

Now is your chance to join them! In this role you will be servicing, maintaining and repairing gas and electric commercial catering equipment at various client sites including schools, hotels, pubs and restaurants.

My client are looking for a COMCAT gas qualified Catering engineer, strong washware/glasswash experience would be a definite bonus.

The area covered by my client includes Hampshire, Sussex, Surrey, Berkshire and Middlesex; there is no Central London work. You will ideally be located as near to their Surrey office as possible, although anywhere else in this geographical area will be considered.

£30,000 – £40,000PA Basic Salary (Dependant on skill level, see pay structure above)

Commercial Catering & Laundry Installer

COMMERCIAL CATERING & LAUNDRY INSTALLER
My client are a market leader in the installation, service and repair of commercial laundry and commercial catering equipment UK wide. They have a current requirement for a Commercial Catering & Laundry Installation Engineer. They are ideally looking for 2 installers in a similar area to form a team, or alternatively this could be an installer and a mate who would like to move as a pair.

My client are interested in speaking with candidates who are experienced with Catering and/or Laundry equipment. Any training on either side will offered.

You will ideally be located within the Buckinghamshire area, although other areas will be considered for the right skill set.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a company who are growing at a very rapid rate and will be able to offer genuine progression routes to any engineers joining them now.

Remuneration:
£30,000 – £32,000PA Basic Salary (slightly less for a mate)

20 days’ holiday + 1 more per year of service
Working hours 08:30 – 17:30 (with a level of flexibility i.e. earlier starts and earlier finishes)

The Ideal Candidate:
-8 or more years total experience working in the Commercial Catering and/or Laundry industries.
-Relevant experience in their current role, or a recent position.
-Experience working as a Field Installation Engineer within the last 5 Years.
-Industry relevant training listed on their CV (Such as City & Guilds, NVQ, HNC, gas or electro-mechanical qualifications).
-Industry Manufacturer Product Training Certificates listed on their CV.
-Customer focused and confident in their skills (and a confident communicator)

Essential Requirements:
-4 or more years total experience working in the Commercial Catering and/or Laundry industries.
-COMCAT or CLE1 (commercial catering or commercial laundry) qualifications.
-Relevant experience working as a Field Installation Engineer such that they could hit the ground running and not require any additional training to start work.
-Customer focused and confident in their skills (and a confident communicator)
-Driving license holder

Commercial Catering Engineer

COMMERCIAL CATERING ENGINEER
My client are small but well established and based down on the Hampshire coast. They have been in operation for around 20 years and pride themselves on their loyal customer base. Due to a recent re-shuffle in management within the firm, they have a current requirement for a COMCAT qualified Commercial Catering Engineer based in the Hampshire area. This role will entail no central London work, with the territory focusing around the Hampshire area with occasional work in surrounding counties (Dorset, Berkshire, West Sussex).

My client’s portfolio consists of a range of prestigious sites including colleges, hospitals, airports and MOD sites; absolutely no chip shops or fast food!

You will ideally be located as near to the office as possible, although a good engineer based elsewhere in Hampshire or surrounding counties will of course be considered.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a firm who have steadily been growing over the years and will always promote from within before looking externally – a senior engineer position will be opening up in the coming months and anyone joining the firm now will have a chance at securing this.
