My client are a market leader in the installation, service and repair of commercial laundry and commercial catering equipment UK wide. They have a current requirement for a Commercial Catering & Laundry Service Engineer in the East Anglia area.
My client are interested in speaking with candidates who are experienced with Catering and/or Laundry equipment. However, they have recently come to an exciting agreement with a major training provider and are now in a position to take on trainee commercial catering engineers.
They are willing to provide a full and comprehensive on-the-job training package which, over the course of 2 – 3 years will transform you into a fully qualified Commercial Catering engineer with COMCAT and Commercial Laundry qualifications and manufacturer training certificates.
They have developed a structured pay scale depending on experience, and are interested in speaking to the following types of candidates:
1. Appliance engineers with domestic gas or core gas safe qualifications (£28k with a pay rise to £30k after 1 year)
2. Experienced COMCAT or Commercial Laundry qualified engineers (£30k – £32k)
You will ideally be located within the East Anglia area (ideally spot would be Sudbury/Ipswich/Haverhill) and willing to cover work down into Essex and up into Norfolk as needed.
This is an incredibly lucrative opportunity, and one that does not come up often within the Commercial Catering sector!
£25,000 – £32,000PA Basic Salary (Dependant on skill level, see pay structure above)
Company vehicle with personal use allowed
Door2Door paid travel
20 days’ holiday + 1 more per year of service
Working hours 08:30 – 17:30 (with a level of flexibility i.e. earlier starts and earlier finishes)
-Fitting into one of the 2 categories listed above.
-Relevant experience working as a Field Service Engineer such that they could hit the ground running and not require any additional training to start work.
-A willingness to travel around specified area in order to carry out work.
-A desire to progress career and undertake the necessary training in order to achieve this.
-Customer focused and confident in their skills (and a confident communicator)
-Driving license holder
