Pump Engineer

Urgently Seeking a Pump Engineer in Hampshire
My client are a leading, independent service provider within the Pump industry. Based in Hampshire, they work with all brands of Pumps and cover work across the Hampshire area and surrounding counties. They provide everything with regards to Sales, Consultation through ongoing Service and Repair Contracts

They have a current requirement for an Experienced Pump Maintenance Engineer to Cover Workshop rebuilds and On site support across the Hampshire area.

Remuneration:
£22,000 – £28,000PA Basic Salary (Dependant on skill level)
OT paid after 40 hour week
Phone

The Ideal Candidate:
-5 or more years total experience working in the Pump industry.
-Relevant experience in their current role, or a recent position.
-Experience working as a Field Maintenance Engineer within the last 5 Years.
-Industry relevant training listed on their CV (Such as NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC, electro-mechanical qualifications).
-Industry Manufacturer Product Training Certificates listed on their CV.
-Customer focused and confident in their skills (and a confident communicator)

Essential Requirements:
-Demonstrable experience working in the Pump industry.
-NVQ3 Mechanical Engineering
-Relevant experience working as a Workshop or Field Maintenance Engineer such that they could hit the ground running and not require any additional training to start work.
-Customer focused and confident in their skills (and a confident communicator)
-Driving license holder

Diesel Generator Service Engineer

A leading Diesel Generator firm are currently recruiting for an experienced Service Engineer. The company work mainly around the Essex area and are currently looking for a couple of additional members of their team due to increased workload due to their ongoing success. The role itself would be split between working at the depot based in Essex and travelling to sites in and around the local area including some London work. This is not a national role and the company try to match the nearest engineer to field work nearby. The role itself involves working on a range of Hire Generators ranging from 20KVA to 1260 KVA.

The company is well-established in the Diesel Generator industry. They are currently adding to their team as they are going from strength to strength. This is an exciting time to join them and a great opportunity for somebody who is looking to grow and develop with a company. As a medium sized, friendly family run company they pride themselves on creating a nice working environment for their engineers and most of their engineers have worked for them for many years.

UPS, Controls and Speed Drives Field Service Engineer

A leading Controls firm are currently recruiting for a UPS, Controls and, Speed Drives Engineer to cover Field Servicing role within their organisations work in the Peterborough / Northamptonshire area. Responsibilities:

  • Service Existing Customers Drives
  • To assist in small installations of MCC,s and New for Old Variable Speed Drives and Soft starters
  • To install UPS Systems.
  • To attend breakdowns to customers sites for reactive maintenance
  • To Test and Commission Products offered by the company
  • To mark up drawings with modifications.
  • To support the support sales team and others with specialised knowledge relating to technical issues
  • To liaise with customers on site regarding technical issues and progress of work
  • To provide maintain customer relationships for established customers

Requirements:

  • You will be commercially aware and have a strong engineering background in both technical design and manufacture of control panels and Soft Start & Variable Speed Drives.
  • Qualified to a minimum of C &G Part 1,2 & 3, HNC/ONC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
  • IEE 16/17th Edition Inspections & Testing Certificate
  • Have commissioning experience.
  • Hold a current JIB Skills Card or CCSC
  • Safety Passport
  • Direct on Line starting and Start Delta Starting knowledge is essential
  • Working Knowledge of PLC, Soft Start & Variable Speed Drives, Instrumentation and 4 -20mA Control.
  • Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills are vital in this role.

Package:

  • £22-£32k basic
  • Over time and on Call Rota
